Abstract

|
8 cases of the heart wound which had been successfully operated on were reported.
These wounds were caused by knife in 6 cases, by traffic accident in one case and by explosion in one case, and clinically classified as Hemotnorax type in 4 cases, acute Tamponade type in 3 cases and combined type in one case.
Some important problems for the diagnosis and treatment of stab wound of the heart were also discussed.
